ISPRM 2020 Elections – Representatives of the National Societies to the Executive Committee

During the Assembly of Delegates (AoD), to take place on Sun 8 March 2020, 14:00-18:00, (ROOM: St. Johns 30/31) during the ISPRM World Congress in Orlando, ELECTIONS will be held for the following positions:
9 Representatives of the National Societies to the Executive Committee – 2020-2022
– 1 representative will be elected from each of the following ISPRM sub-areas:
- North America
- Central America
- South America
- Europe
- Eastern Mediterranean
- Africa
- Southern & South East Asia
- Central & East Asia
- Oceania
Note: This role will go into effect during the Executive Committee II meeting on Mon 09 March at 9:00 - 10:30 AM, St. Johns 28. The nominations and election process will be held according to the Article 8 of the Statutes and Section VI of the Policies & Procedures
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
As a member of the EC, we would like to ask for your support and assistance in the following areas: National Society Membership
- Assistance in obtaining dues payments from members in your sub area who are not currently in good standing
- Identifying PRM societies in your sub area who are not current members, confirming the contacts and promoting ISPRM to them to encourage them to join
- Identifying new/emerging PRM societies in your sub area and informing them about the activities of ISPRM
ISPRM Committees
- Support the work of the ISPRM committees in your sub-area
Business Meetings
- Attend all Executive Committee Meetings and Assembly of Delegates
- Represent ISPRM if requested by President’s Cabinet
The Representatives to the Assembly of Delegates and Executive Committee will be advocating the interest of the Individual members in these respective bodies and take part in the strategic and operational decisions of ISPRM.
ELIGIBILITY
Only Active Individual Members are eligible for the above positions. Ensure your membership is up-to-date here before applying. To be eligible for the position of Representatives of the National Societies to the Executive Committee, you should fulfill the following additional criteria:
- to have a Medical Doctor degree with a PRM specialist title or equivalent
- to have at least 10 years of PRM practice or national equivalent
- to be an active and participating member in national and international PRM or related organizations
- to be actively practicing and/or participating in organizational activities in his/her own country
- to be an Active Member of the ISPRM (individually or through an Active National Society)

By submitting your nomination, you agree that your information can be shared with the ISPRM membership for the purpose of these elections. Also, please indicate if you wish to be listed in our newsletter as a candidate. If YES then remember to submit profile picture and a 50 word (max) vision statement.
