The 59th International Spinal Cord Society Annual Scientific Meeting (ISCoS 2020)
The 59th International Spinal Cord Annual Scientific Meeting – ISCoS 2020, is going virtual on 1 – 5 September 2020.
Early Bird Registration Now Open!
Early Bird Registration Ends: Tuesday 30 June, 2020
We are creating ISCoS history with the first-ever virtual conference, making this a truly global event, streaming straight to your device wherever you are in the world.
Different time zones are not a problem, you can choose to schedule your calendar in real-time (British Summer Time), or you can catch up later. Virtual technology means the possibilities are endless. For instance, as a keynote presentation is being streamed you will be able to ask questions directly to the speaker using a simultaneous live Q&A session.
The main features familiar to any ISCoS meeting will remain, from keynote speakers to instructional courses, workshops and oral presentations break-out sessions. The experience, however, will be enhanced with new opportunities and possibilities, you will be able to visit the exhibit hall and speak to exhibitors, create one to one appointments in chat rooms and make face to face calls. We will also have a social programme that you can be involved in which may include a virtual dance party! Social distancing does not mean we have to be socially distant. You can even arrange to meet up with friends in one of our social areas, grab yourself an afternoon coffee and speak to a colleague who is enjoying a morning coffee!
ISCoS 2020 continues to attract Spinal Cord Injury professionals with interest and activity in prevention, research, management and/or rehabilitation of persons with spinal cord lesions. In recent years the annual meeting has become more interdisciplinary and brings together a varied group including neurologists, neurosurgeons, nurses, traumotologists, physical therapists, social workers, occupational therapists orthopaedic surgeons, psychologists, sports therapists and urologists. The educational programme will encourage these delegates to share knowledge and experience as they research the new innovations within their fields.
