The Congress will be held in Marrakech, Morocco from 24 to 28 November 2020.
Achieving such a situation of equitable and universal coverage of rehabilitation services in Africa would enable people to benefit from the rehabilitation services they need without facing financial difficulties, and to receive quality care that is good enough to improve their health. and their social participation.
As an African civil right organization coupled with an experience of seven international congresses and more and more legitimacy, FATO is committed to support/encourage the different African governments for the implementation of the whole recommendations in general and particularly the recommendations 3 and 8 including those relating to « Set up strategies and action plan on disability" and "Improve data collection on disability »
Thus, after many actions going in the sense of building capacity, improving the quality of services and fair access to rehabilitation care for people with disabilities in Africa, FATO is firmly committed to a comprehensive approach being aware that without the inclusion of rehabilitation in plans, strategies and development programs, many achievements may fail.
