ISPRM Election 2025 – 7 representants of Active Individual Members to the Assembly of Delegates

This year, at ISPRM25 in Marrakesh, the ISPRM will hold elections for 7 Representatives of Active Individual Members for the Assembly of Delegates – apply by October 1st!
The Assembly of Individual Members is composed of ISPRM Individual members – Individual Members are either National Society Members, or individuals who are not members of National Societies but are members of the ISPRM. This Assembly is responsible for representing the interests and voices of ISPRM’s individual members and contributes to the governance and strategic direction of the ISPRM through democratic processes, active participation, and engagement with the Society’s leadership.
Representatives of Active Individual Members will be elected from the following ISPRM areas: *
- Europe, Africa and Eastern Mediterranean region Representatives (1 position available)
- Americas region Representatives (2 positions available)
- Asia & Oceania region Representatives (4 positions available)
*These roles will go into effect during the Assembly of Delegates meeting at the ISPRM 2025 World Congress
REQUIREMENTS:
- Wiling to guarantee regional representativeness and personal contribution to strengthen the field of physical rehabilitation through education, research, and humanitarian actions.
- Must be a PRM physician specialist qualified to practice in your own country (or retired from practice 5 years or less)
- ISPRM Membership must be active in 2025 – Must be registered at the ISPRM website and the online membership must be up to date.
MAIN RESPONSABILITIES:
- Participating in the Assembly of Individual Members Decision-Making Process
- Propose, discuss, and vote on motions relevant to individual members.
- Provide input and recommendations to ISPRM leadership regarding activities, programs, and initiatives that benefit the broader body of individual members.
- Ensure equitable representation of the ISPRM’s major geographic areas—The Americas; Europe, Eastern Mediterranean and Africa; and Asia-Oceania—through all electoral and participatory processes.
- Encourage engagement from members across regions and promote leadership opportunities for underrepresented areas.
- Maintain clear communication with the ISPRM Executive Committee and Assembly of Delegates to advocate for individual member interests.
- Propose activities that support ISPRM’s mission of optimizing functioning and quality of life for persons with disabilities.

PRESENTATION OF CANDIDATES:
The Candidates will be presented during the Assembly of Individual Members (AIM) that will take place on Tuesday, November 4, 2025.
VOTING:
The voting will take place on Wednesday, November 5, from 9 to 11am at the ISPRM Room in Marrakesh. To vote, you must be registered at the ISPRM website and your membership must be up to date. The election results will be announced during the Assembly of Delegates meeting at the ISPRM 2025 World Congress.
